ABOUT JANINE
My name is Janine Dieudonné and I am the driving force behind Connecté. I’m 58 years old, a mother of four adult children, and I live in Waalre. For 15 years, I worked as a French teacher at a secondary school. I studied French Language and Literature at the University of Amsterdam, with a minor in Communication Science.
There has always been a common thread in my life: observing and understanding people. I’m fascinated by the question of who fits with whom, and what kind of connections people can have.
Helping people connect, find each other, and build happiness together has always intrigued and inspired me. Empathy, enthusiasm, discretion, and a perfect sense of timing - to me, these are the essential ingredients for creating meaningful relationships.
I’ve faced the challenge of losing my spouse, and after a period of mourning, I decided I didn’t want to stay alone. In a special and unexpected way, I met the love of my second life - and today, I’m a happy and grateful woman.
I truly wish this same happiness for other singles, and that’s exactly why I founded Connecté.

Connecté was born from a deep desire to bring people together. We understand — and know from personal experience — how exciting and sometimes uncertain the path to love can be. What do you expect? What does the other person expect? What are you both hoping to find?
