Article 2 – Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, quotations and agreements of Connecté.
The Client receives these Terms prior to entering into the Agreement. They are also available at any time via the Website.
Connecté may change these Terms. Changes will be announced at least one month in advance. If the changes have a significant impact, the Client may terminate the Agreement.
Article 3 – Introduction Meeting
The process always begins with a personal introduction meeting.
A one-time fee applies (see Website).
If the Client cancels within 24 hours prior to the meeting, 75% of the fee will be charged.
Article 4 – Formation of the Agreement
The Agreement is formed only when:
-
the Client signs the registration form or Agreement (digitally or in writing), and
-
Connecté confirms the registration by email.
Introduction meetings or general contact do not form an Agreement.
The Agreement runs for six (6) months. After this period, it is automatically renewed for subsequent six-month periods unless the Client cancels on time.
Early termination by the Client is not allowed. If the Client enters a relationship during the term—whether or not due to Connecté's services—the full payment obligation remains.
Cancellation must be made no later than one week before renewal via:
janine@connecte-by-dieudonne.com
If Connecté exceptionally agrees to early termination, a reasonable fee for work already performed may be charged.
Article 5 – Prices, payment and default
Prices are listed on the Website and may be adjusted annually.
Invoices are sent monthly. The payment term is 14 days.
After this term expires, the Client is automatically in default. After a reminder of 14 days, Connecté may charge:
-
statutory interest,
-
and extrajudicial collection costs.
Connecté may suspend services or terminate the Agreement if the Client remains in default.
Article 6 – Right of withdrawal
For agreements entered into online, by phone or via email, the Client has a 14-day cooling-off period.
-
If no service has been provided → cancellation is free
-
If services have started at the Client's request → a reasonable fee applies
Cancellations must be made via email.
Article 7 – Obligations of Connecté
Connecté performs the Agreement with due care.
Connecté works based on a best-efforts obligation, never a results obligation.
No specific number of introductions or a guaranteed match can be promised. Availability depends on individual circumstances and preferences.
Article 8 – Obligations of the Client
The Client must:
-
behave respectfully towards Connecté and candidates,
-
treat candidate information confidentially,
-
delete candidate information if no further contact occurs,
-
cooperate actively in the matchmaking process,
-
provide updated contact details when necessary.
The Client indemnifies Connecté against claims resulting from misuse or breach of confidentiality by the Client.
Article 9 – Privacy protection
Connecté processes personal data in accordance with:
-
the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
-
Connecté’s privacy policy (available on the Website),
-
and related legislation.
Article 10 – Complaints
Complaints may be submitted via email.
Connecté responds within one month.
Privacy-related complaints may also be submitted to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Article 11 – Other provisions
Connecté cannot guarantee the outcome of any relationship or match.
Connecté is not liable for:
-
material or immaterial damage during or after contact opportunities,
-
damage caused by third parties,
-
or force majeure events (government measures, outages, strikes, war, sabotage, etc.).
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
Parties will agree on new provisions that reflect the original purpose as closely as possible.
Dutch law applies to all Agreements and these Terms & Conditions.
